01The brief
A global tech brand wanted people to try its smart glasses for themselves. It booked demo teams wherever the crowds were in summer 2024, from the trains into Glastonbury to the Wimbledon queue. This was white-label work, so the brand is not named here.
02What we did
The summer took in five events.
Every event had a trained team, and the client had the report the next morning.
Glastonbury
20 staff in three teams rode three trains from Paddington and Waterloo, then met festival-goers at Castle Cary with the glasses on and tote bags to give away.
Wimbledon
We worked 85 shifts in the queue, the tent village, the Fan Village and at Southfields and Wimbledon stations, with 2,296 demos and 4,066 interactions.
Olympic fanzones
Our demo teams at the Team GB Fanzone during the Paris Olympics ran 726 demos, logged 1,083 interactions and gave out 540+ goody bags, with a money-off card for every demo.
EE Studios, White City
A weekend of demos in the EE Studios store brought 128 interactions and 71 demos, reported first thing Monday.
London Freshers Fair
A team of 12 ran smart glasses, VR and merch stations on the stand at the Business Design Centre, with 5,169 interactions and 842 demos in one day.

03The result
Our teams logged more than 10,400 interactions and 3,900 demos, and every one was in the client’s report the morning after. The work led straight into our UK and Ireland VR launch.
“These are game changing. I feel like I’m living in the future.”

One summer brought 10,400+ interactions.
