We Are Play is the trading name of Play Staffing Studios Ltd. These policies set out how we work on events and in stores. We review them every year and can send them for your procurement or tender process.

Sustainability

People travelling to work is the biggest impact a staffing agency has, so that is where we focus.

• We hire local teams first, in each city or country, so fewer people need to travel.
• Public transport is our default for staff travel. We use taxis, flights and hotels only when the job needs them.
• We record staff travel for each event, including mode of travel, distance and hotel nights, and can report it to you.
• We reuse uniforms and kit where the brief allows.
• Briefings, quizzes, timesheets and reports all run online, which keeps paper off the job.

Social responsibility

• We recruit in the communities where events take place.
• New starters are trained and paired with experienced team members.
• We treat everyone fairly, whatever their background, and select people for the role and the brief.
• On shifts that need it, we use people who hold a DBS check.

Quality

Every booking runs the same way, so you get the same standard on every shift.

• Everyone comes through an application, a video call and an in-person meeting before they work for you.
• Staff confirm their shifts and complete an online briefing and quiz on our LiveForce app.
• Every booking has a named lead, with breaks, cover and reserves planned before the day.
• Staff check in and out by GPS and selfie, and our team monitors every check-in.
• You get timesheets and reports in the format you need, and we agree any extra cost with you first.
• We collect client feedback, guest surveys and Team Player exit surveys, and use them to improve the next job.

Health, safety and insurance

We hold employers’ liability and public liability insurance. Every team is briefed on the venue rules and safety plan for its event, and our equality and health and safety policies are available on request.
